Assembly Notes
The Carolina 26 is designed to be assembled in sections. For best results:
- Install M5 heat inserts (6.5 mm OD) first
- Dry-fit all sections before final bonding
- Use 2-part epoxy on mating surfaces
- Screw sections together before epoxy cures
- Reinforce the interior with fiberglass resin after assembly
- Fiberglass cloth can be added for maximum strength
Finish Recommendations
- Sand progressively from 120 → 220 → 400 grit
- Apply 3–5 coats of filler primer
- Use body filler where needed
- Wet sand and re-prime until smooth
- Rust-Oleum Marine Topside is recommended for final paint
- Allow full cure before final wet sanding and buffing
Cooling & Water Pickup Notes
Water pumps are recommended. Water pickups can be drilled through the hull floor and installed using brass tubing. All penetrations should be sealed properly to prevent water intrusion.

I'm currently printing this unit. From what I can tell, it will be a nice piece to add to a large collection of r/c boats and subs. We live in between two lakes with three local rivers and lots of water features to use it on. Looking forward to this and other TMRC models in the future.
Awesome boat
